Kudos to the Art and Design Class of Year 10

Claire O'Rourke, teacher of the BTEC Art and Design Class at The Radclyffe School in Oldham England, contacted me in late May, asking for biographical information regarding the series of shell paintings that I'd done in the winter of 2008. She and her class were interested in using the work as part of their Sea Life project. In July, Ms. O'Rourke emailed me a montage of the results, which I share with you here.

Please join me in congratulating the students on a job well done. Excellent work - great color and rendering! And, what a wonderful way to put the internet to use as an artist's tool. I feel very fortunate to be part of Year 10's classwork.
