Deluge

I've been watching too much television. This abstract came after a PBS documentary on natural disasters. It inspired me to express another type of deluge that we've all been dealing with: the deluge of change, technological and social. A deluge that inundates some more than others, typically the middle-aged and elderly, who in times past were not required to learn much of anything new but instead were relied on to teach the young established, successful ways of survival. As we are all deluged with change, we are all seeking new ways to survive.
