Searching

The first six months of painting are over. It was a time of tremendous creativity, inside and out. The vigor of the seasons, spring and summer were so easy to portray. Six months ago the trees outside my window looked almost as they do today, somewhat bare with little bits of color - green then, yellow now. The days are short and getting shorter. It's getting colder and more difficult to be optimistic as we're all reminded of the end of things comfortable and bright.
