Caduceus

Twining serpents
formed from
a forty-four year-old block
of plasticine clay,

revived with microwaves.

What good is a maquette
for which a mold
cannot be cast?

This plasticine form is only about 7" tall and very flexible, having a lightweight wire armature. If you have any suggestions on how a mold of "Caduceus" might be made, please offer them. Making art is a continuous learning experience.

Sunday Comics

Thanks to
my thoughtful neighbor
who shared the extra copy
of her newspaper.

It's been decades
since I've enjoyed
a steaming cup of coffee
while reading
the Sunday comics
in print.

After another long hiatus, the artist finds refuge in an unheated attic on Corbin Avenue. Imposed isolation turned out to be the catalyst needed for creativity.

This Offering's painting is 9" x 28 1/4", Golden acrylic paint and mediums on gessoed hardboard. It is available in my Etsy store.
