•Hidden in the woods on Lake Waramaug, Johnnycake Lodge, so secluded that during the hours it took to paint this, deer came by to watch me. First a four-point buck in velvet, then a doe and spotted fawn. The fawn was curious enough to come within a couple of feet. So funny that it would want to see what I was doing, just like any curious person.
