Fresh Oranges

In my brother's backyard, there are several orange trees of different types. I love to see their fruit, which need much sun to mature and even so hide in the shade of foliage, heavy and pendulous. The perfume of their blossoms wraps my memory like the pleasure that comes from that first glass of fresh juice in the morning. - Nancy Boudreau

Want to pick your own in Arizona? Out of state and want to order direct, fresh?

This painting is about 5" x 7" acrylic on gessoed mat board, protected in a cream-colored mat. As with all these little studies, the text above is handwritten on the back of the painting, which is also signed and dated.
